The Rebar BASIC (B) module is the entry-level reinforcement environment for small to medium projects. It covers essential bar reinforcement tasks — any planar shape, bending references, position numbering, and bar schedules — with clear upgrade path to Rebar PRO for advanced workflows.

What problem does the Rebar BASIC module solve?

For small projects and occasional users, a full PRO license is overkill. Yet plain AutoCAD offers no rebar intelligence at all — every bar is just a line, every label is manual text, and there is no schedule automation.

How the Rebar BASIC module changes the workflow

  • Any planar rebar shape derived from polylines, positioned in 3D space with full geometric intelligence.

What does the Rebar BASIC module cover?

Rebar BASIC covers the essential reinforcement workflow for projects with up to 100 rebar placements per drawing. Features marked PRO-only require an upgrade to the Rebar PRO module.

Any rebar shape

Any planar bending shape from polylines, with 3D legs, variable lengths, and LFDM bar support.

2 bar styles

Two configurable bar styles for appearance control. Unlimited styles available in Rebar PRO.

Bending shape reference

Bending shape reference that tracks the master. XY, X, and Y view references are PRO-only.

Position numbering

Position numbering with manual (soft) position assignment, collision detection, and position search.

Rebar schedules

Rebar schedules with custom table styles, format-string driven labels, and multi-language plan support.

Hooks and 3D legs

Hook ends, 3D legs, and intelligent stretch to bar. Special bar ends (threads, sleeves) are PRO-only.

Upgrade path
